My first Valentine
Since I haven't been blogging for some time, THIS will be a super long blog with pictures ^^ Mainly for my own diary and record purpose^^
After 24 years of celebrating Valentines alone, this is the 1st Valentine that I've celebrated!! *not that I am desperate. It's just very memorable despite it was just yesterday*
What have I received for present??
In actual fact, I received presentS!! I got a Pandora bracelet with 5 charms; 20 stalks of roses (suppose to be 19 as it meant something special to the both of us) and a fine dinning meal at Namaste Nepalese Restaurant!! Speaking of something different, the food is somewhat a combination of Indian and Chinese. I'll show you what we've got (all descriptions are obtained from Namaste Nepalese Restaurant) :
The atmosphere of the restaurant is fairly nice. It has thoughtful decorations and very nice hosts! The food's good and something out of the norm. Mr. CK thought that we should get something different that the normal Western or Italian ^^. Apparently, this restaurant is very popular!! We dine in there on the Saturday before Valentines and it's a full house. I can't imagine it on the very day! Well, if you would like something different, that's a restaurant to try ^^ BUT, bear in mind that they don't do entertainment card discounts....still worth it. Nonetheless, it would be best if it does it ^^
Alrighty, I better put this post up and update my home made valentine dinner later ^^

Phore Season Restaurant
CK decided to give me a surprise 3 month anniversary dinner without letting me know where we are heading for dinner. I was only given the notice/ instruction to “wear nicely” = alternatively means we're heading for a fine dine OR normally I just don't dress up enough *which i am not...wakakakaka*
Apparently, CK as always, did his research and found out that the restaurant has achieved the “Finalist Status in the ITALIAN category 2010 of the Restaurant & Catering SA Natural Gas Awards for Excellence”, not to mention their other achievements throughout the years.
We had decided to go full on with the dinner à which mean a 3 course meal!! I read through the menu and order food that caught my eye and "sounds" delicious *I know you can't hear food....but trust me, they are yelling at YOU---not literally! XD* We wanted to order dessert at the beginning, but the waiter was like "have a go at your food and you can order the dessert later when you know how much space you have left!". THANK GOODNESS we listened to him...hahaha....we were BLOATED! So, we only ordered one dessert to share ^^v

Colours of Vesak - A momento -
After more than half a year of preparation and 3 months of hardcore practices, the debut of "Colours of Vesak" on the 22nd of May 2010 in Norwood Concert Hall was a success!! We received thunderous applause and tons of congratulative words....it was a memorable event. However, I still feel that it's not done YET! There's still this feeling at the back of my mind that, we'll still have practice this saturday from 8am - 4pm.
For those who don't know what this event is about, the play was done in conjunction with the celebration of the annual Vesak Day Celebration - the birth, enlightenment and passing of the Buddha. This festival is largely celebrated in the asian countries as well as in some western countries. In adelaide, the SA Zhu Lin Buddhist Association cum RuShi Buddhist Youth Group celebrated the event with another style this year -> a drama depicting the Life of the Buddha in ancient Indian era.
I hereby would like to take the opportunity to thank the whole crew!! Thank you for your hard work *studying during rehearsals*; thank you for your commitment and cooperation; thank you for the fun and joy; thank you for the bond of friendship that has never been there or else stronger than ever!! Organizing such an event hosting for over 400 spectators is no easy job. There are tons of naggings *I know I did...as well as from other people*, tons of spamming emails... ... etc! However, it's worth everything as it's now part of our memory that would last the the last days of my life *I am pretty sure in those who have participated as well as those who watched!!*!!
A great thanks for my bunch of great committee members, working with you guys have never been better. Sorry if I have been invasive in anyways.....thanks so much for the hardwork! Loved the props, costumes and sound effects!!! Too much to thank that I can't put it in words...well you know!!
Many people have been asking for the DVD on the concert, just a heads up: IT'S ON ITS WAY........it's coming to town really soon~ I will be one of the 1st who will lay my hands on it!! Can't wait to watch it ^.^ The spectator enjoyed the drama while we were frantically changing backstage....I wanna watch!! I WANT I WANT!!!! *huff puff huff puff....calm calm*
Okay, I will place in another entry with picture for momento and jazz up the whole blog! Till then,
