NO HOT WATER!!!!!!!!!!!

NOOOooooooo.................The worst thing that can happen during cold autumn/winter nights is that there's NO HOT WATER!!!! Hot water is the staple thing during cold weathers to keep me warm and fuzzy! Alright, I have been showering okay, if that's what you are thinking! I have been showering using the ancient method, and I am pretty sure that kids this days don't do it anymore : )

Boil water ->put it in a big bucket -> mix with adequate cold water to make it warm -> use a small bucket to scoop the water for shower!

On wednesday night, I went swimming. After swimming, I went to have my shower and GLAD AS HEAVEN I was to have hot water shower straight away!!! We've been taking for granted the convenience that we now have......save water people!

Okay...I think I am done rambling! I shall shut up and keep boiling water ^.^

Wirra Wirra - Church Block - 2008

Had the feeling of getting a bottle of red during the cool weathers to warm myself up. Been thinking about that for the past 2 years. Finally, today I got a bottle Wirra Wirra's Church Block 2008 wine. It's a blend of reds. I have been told by my colleague that if you wanna know if a winery is good, you got to try their blends. I was also given the information that Church Block is a MUST TRY, so I coincidently saw it and I just bought it.

My critic:
*NOTE: Disclaimer, I am not good/experience wine taster....am a noob that just enjoy low amount of wine in my own way*

- The wine is very well blend
- Smooth
- It's a fruity wine
- Since, it's a blend it's not dry like Shiraz *which I like anyway*

It's a good wine for starters to try, nothing too heavy! Personally, I am loving the wine just like how I fell in love with pinot gris the 1st time I drink it!

Colours of Vesak - A momento -

After more than half a year of preparation and 3 months of hardcore practices, the debut of "Colours of Vesak" on the 22nd of May 2010 in Norwood Concert Hall was a success!! We received thunderous applause and tons of congratulative words....it was a memorable event. However, I still feel that it's not done YET! There's still this feeling at the back of my mind that, we'll still have practice this saturday from 8am - 4pm.

For those who don't know what this event is about, the play was done in conjunction with the celebration of the annual Vesak Day Celebration - the birth, enlightenment and passing of the Buddha. This festival is largely celebrated in the asian countries as well as in some western countries. In adelaide, the SA Zhu Lin Buddhist Association cum RuShi Buddhist Youth Group celebrated the event with another style this year -> a drama depicting the Life of the Buddha in ancient Indian era.

I hereby would like to take the opportunity to thank the whole crew!! Thank you for your hard work *studying during rehearsals*; thank you for your commitment and cooperation; thank you for the fun and joy; thank you for the bond of friendship that has never been there or else stronger than ever!! Organizing such an event hosting for over 400 spectators is no easy job. There are tons of naggings *I know I did...as well as from other people*, tons of spamming emails... ... etc! However, it's worth everything as it's now part of our memory that would last the the last days of my life *I am pretty sure in those who have participated as well as those who watched!!*!!

A great thanks for my bunch of great committee members, working with you guys have never been better. Sorry if I have been invasive in anyways.....thanks so much for the hardwork! Loved the props, costumes and sound effects!!! Too much to thank that I can't put it in words...well you know!!

Many people have been asking for the DVD on the concert, just a heads up: IT'S ON ITS WAY........it's coming to town really soon~ I will be one of the 1st who will lay my hands on it!! Can't wait to watch it ^.^ The spectator enjoyed the drama while we were frantically changing backstage....I wanna watch!! I WANT I WANT!!!! *huff puff huff puff....calm calm*

Okay, I will place in another entry with picture for momento and jazz up the whole blog! Till then,

Sick Lappie!

I have recently received complains that I have not been updating my blog like FOREVER!!! Well, I have a really good reason for the laziness....seriously I DO!! Let me tell you the all-so-wonderful-story-of-mua-sick-lappie!

On a wonderful day last week, I found out that my lappie is lagging...I somehow suspected it's just some startup error, just like headache in humans. So, I decided to restart it. However, it FAILED me again >.< Out of desperateness, I thought of my "daddy" and sms him to help me diagnos mua poor lil new lappie. So, in the avo, I brought lappie to meet up with "daddy". Under the tender hands of "daddy" and his mates, "daddy" said that it's not my programs problem, it will most probably be mua lappies internal organs failure, and he suggested that I should bring my lappie to the hands of the professionals ----> the Hospital!

Well, since mua lappie is a young lad *less than 6 months old* it will be under warranty. So, on monday I called up the Hospital and book in a time. They just told me to bring it in any time and they will look at it. With that, I brought in my lappie on tuesday evening and spoke to the IT techies there. The inital speculation of diagnosis that is mua lappie's hard disk is having a heamorrage. Since, mua lappie was bought in Malaysia, they will have to request for parts and replace it.

To date, I have yet to received any calls that mua lappie is saved and safe to leave the Hospital! I called up the Hospital today, they say they are having final checks on mua lappie...I just hope that mua lappie can leave the NICU *neonatal intensive care unit* soon without a scratch *boooohoooooo*

I MISS YOU LAPPIE......COME BACK TO MAMA SOON!!!!!!!!
